Dear friends,
Allow me to forward you my vision about the European Union. Our paths may be different but we share a common dream, a European vision for the many, not for the few, where everybody has the right for the pursuit of his rights and happiness.
I strongly believe that the European Union should not be about ruthless politics. It must be politics with a mind and heart. It must be about men and women, youth, students, children, the elderly, persons with disability, dreams and emotions.
In view of my concerns to your well being and that of your family, I am committing myself with 9 for 2009 proposals in order to make Europe work.
This is my vision and my belief. I am convinced that my experience as an active Member of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union, during the last three years, can help me translate our dreams into action.
