Claudette Abela Baldacchino is contesting the European Parliament elections for the first time.  Her nomination was approved by the Executive Commitee of the Labour Party and hence she became one of the twelve candidates on the list of the Labour Party.  The European Parliament elections will be held on Saturday 6th June 2009.  Voters need to be registered in the electoral register that is compiled and administered by the Electoral Commission.  The final register for these elections will be issued in April 2009 and should contain data correct as 31st March 2009.

Claudette believes in fair and just elections.  Hence she believes that only eligible voters should be listed in the electoral register.  Those not listed should take remedial steps.  Anyone that is aware of persons that are listed in the electoral register incorrectly should advice the Labour Party on telephone number 21249900.
